Supports 4G: Orange has put the package in February
The incumbent focuses on commissioning in the 1800 Mhz band which associate to other frequencies allows us to offer more flow.While operators have made new commitments in the 4G coverage as a result of the requirements of the Government, ANFR (national frequencies Agency) made the point on the commissioning of materials 4 G during the month of February.
It's Orange, which was the most active with 313 sites placed in service for a total of 14.603. Free Mobile is on the second step of the podium with 164 commissioning for a total of 10.058 sites. The operator focuses on its side on the 700 Mhz (or frequency) band. For the record, the 700 MHz is currently available for the mobile broadband in some areas opened since April 6, 2016.
SFR who has spent the year 2017 at the top of deployments to catch up now seems to raise the foot with only 126 commissioning for a total of 14.506 active sites. Bouygues Telecom has been the least active with 41 new sites but it remains the first in total with 14.697 sites.
Overall, March 1, 39.385 4G sites are allowed by ANFR, including 35.088 in-service, all operators combined.
