3) Symbian: it is owned by Nokia and used for their phones. Any other company will have to have the permission of Nokia before using this operating system.
4) Windows Phone: developed by Microsoft, is used essentially by the terminals or high-end Nokia Smartphone.
5) BlackBerry OS: developed by RIM (Research In Motion), which is also the manufacturer of the BlackBerry. Logically it is the operating system used on the BlackBerry, thus developing their own mobile OS.
6) Firefox OS: of the Mozilla Foundation, which is responsible for the Firefox browser. It is an operating system that attempts to open a gap in the market and there are already companies like Geeksphone and Alcatel that it are using it.
