According to informal sources, Google should publish the developers preview of Android P later this month. The replacement of Android 8.0 Oreo could be introduced support of the notch for the screens.

While the majority of Android users are still waiting to see the color of Oreo, version 8.0 released last year, his successor prepares in the shade. The blogger Evan Blass, known for its scoops on the Google OS and its terminals, has just launched a tweet announcing that the first developers preview of Android P would be available in mid-March. A timing that was not surprising knowing that Android 8.0 Oreo had arrived at the same time last year.

A few details have leaked about things to expect from this new version. Much of the support of the notch in the upper part of the screen that would pave the way to a generalization of this design inspired by Apple's X iPhone. For the rest, it is question of new security features, with such a warning system when a phone call is recorded and the blocking of the applications running in the background by going to the microphone and/or camera of the Smartphone. Other device mentioned, blocking unknown calls are not in contacts and premium rate calls.
