Microsoft opens a school on Artificial Intelligence in France
This structure focuses on retraining people, away from the job or school dropouts. 24 students integrate the first promotion.
According to different studies, specialized in the AI profiles demand explodes in companies. Increased interest in AI skills seems quite logical as most important industries such as manufacturing or health make a transition to this technology to offer new offers of service and products to their business partners and customers.
Gartner estimated that the AI will create 2.3 million jobs by 2020 all by eliminating 1.8 million jobs. But in the meantime, need to be trained, and dedicated training are few, particularly in France.
Given this situation, Microsoft has decided to open a school on the subject in partnership with Simplon. This structure focuses on retraining people, away from the job or school dropouts. 24 students integrate the first promotion. Thus, learners of the training were recruited in partnership with Pôle Emploi and the great school of digital, on their technical skills (mastery of some programming languages), their knowledge in mathematics (computation differential, probabilities and statistics) and their motivation. The Faculty of the candidates to articulate their professional project and plan for employment was also evaluated during interviews, as well as their capacity of adaptation and collaboration.

Specifically, the training program is the following:
7 months of intensive training on the Microsoft Campus - content educational agnostic, developed by Microsoft developers in partnership with Simplon,
around 5 fields of expertise and experts here: the preparation and the processing of data, the API cognitive, AI, interfacing development and production and the es "soft skills."
12-month professional contract, alternating within Microsoft partner companies
For these qualifications:
3 certifications professional trades (Data and AI) registered with the National Commission for Professional Certification for obtaining a qualification
level II (equivalent bac + 3)
1 certification Microsoft in Machine Learning
